Book week = Lucky me !

I am Sssooooooooooooooo lucky Charlotte decided to go as a Hookie la la ladya aka hula girl to book week.  I was very keen to sew and make her an outfit but no she and her two friends Alisa L , Olivia M and Charlotte onthe end on right decided to give them mums an easy few week nights ! no sewing involved here

Mamma's Market Buderim

Last Saturday we took a trip to the fantastic Mamma's market at Buderim.  The girls enjoyed some facepainting, snake handling (yeeks) and some yummy fizzy drink and a little spend.  Charlotte enjoyed it even more as her school buddy Chelsea's mum runs the market and they got to catch up .

Twas the night of the end of the holidays and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a Grade 1er

Back to school aahhh the holidays were fantabulouso !

Kindy fascinator

Last friday before holidays kindy had a mums and dads race day.  I decided to make my fascinator and used some old scraps of material and an old hair band that i bound with old left over bias binding.  Bingo ! one cute fascinator for young and old

Houston WE HAVE SOLAR !~Yep thats the view from above so my hubby has gone and done it go the solar panels up and powering !

Happenings here

We acquired two new little guinea pigs earlier in the year so today i made them up two new snuggle sacks from some old floral fabric and some remnants of polar fleece.  Mind you they are v cute and love their new snuggle pouches

Its a New Year and time to reflect .........top 10 things i want to do in 2011

1.  Walk, lots anywhere, anytime and with my old staffy.
2.  Complete my DSLR Photography Course
3.  Make more time for being silly
4.  Eat less sugar !
5.  Bushwalk more often and maybe climb Mount Coolum
6.  Take our caravan away more often
7.  Catchup with my oldest friend Julie (friends since we were 6) in Brisbane
8.  Visit Ikea
9.  Be happy with the simplest and smallest things.
10. Be more organised.

school she no longer needs her sleep bags from daycare.  I appliqued Amber's name onthis and a love heart and threaded the bag with new red cord and bingo a new bag !
